A new portfolio piece! I took my Janelle Monáe painting and put it into the context of a magazine cover.
Remember that time when I was working on a painting of Janelle Monáe? I finally finished it! Huzzah!
Probably about 7.5 hours of work, total.
There are a few final touches to put on it, but my book cover project for graphic design is more or less finished!

I’m uploading last semester’s giant shock book project to lulu.com! It’s going to be for sale at some point in the near future, if any of you lovely tumblr people are interested in purchasing a copy! For those of you who don’t remember, it’s got stuff like this and this in it, and it took me a really long time and I’m really quite happy with it and also glad it is finished. Here’s the cover:

In other news, I just found out that my senior thesis is due at the end of February. Wanna know how much work I’ve done on it over the break? Zero. I have done zero work.
These next two months are going to be in-saaaaaannneeee. XD
